About Us

In 1956 the Head Chef of an international cruise liner injured his hand while at sea, leaving no choice but to relinquish his proud position at the upcoming port of call. After anxious deliberation with the Captain (and to the Assistant Chef’s surprise), a gifted and hard working young 18 year old line cook was chosen to lead the kitchen and carryon the duties of feeding 1000 hungry guests. His name was Andreas. His hard work ethic and passion for great tasting traditional recipes carries on to this day.
